2021 holiday gift guide for the carpenter in your life

  1. Nite Ize Clip Case Holster ($22) : This is the perfect solution to adding that extra protection for phones on active jobsites. It attaches to a toolbelt and is easy to open and close.
  2. FLEXVOLT Cordless Brushless Miter Saw ($998) : We’re big fans of battery powered tools over here, especially FLEXVOLT. This is obviously the most spendy of the items on this list, but extremely valuable for the accuracy and power it offers.
  3. Stabila 48 inch Electronic Level ($310) : Stabila is an established German brand known for their quality and accuracy. Mike has been using electronic Stabila levels for the past year and is obsessed with their ease of use and accuracy. It comes with a case, is water and dust proof, and has an illuminated display, along with a beeping noise that can activate when you’re in a situation where you can’t read the screen or see the bubble.
  4. Shockwave Titanium Drill Bit Set – 23 piece ($25) : Any handyman or carpenter will be grateful for this bit set. We have tried many brands and always go back to this one.
  5. Masterforce GelFit Thigh Support Stabilization Knee Pads ($50) : These have been a lifesaver when working on flooring or decking. You truly don’t appreciate kneepads until you work on your knees without them. Show your carpenter friend that you care by getting them these.
  6. Honeywell Sync Wireless Earmuff with Bluetooth ($114) : Durable, noise canceling headphones with built-in bluetooth and the ability to take calls.
  7. Bosch Blaze Pro Laser Measure ($67) : This tiny tool can measure a space and calculates the square footage in seconds. Very handy!
  8. Stiletto TiBone Hammer ($199) : Mike cannot stop raving about this hammer. His favorite features are that it’s surprisingly lightweight and it produces 10 times less recoil shock when compared to steel. Using steel over time increases carpal tunnel risk. This is an investment that will last.
  9. Mission Original Cooling Towel ($15) : The cooling effect activates when combined with water. You wring it out and it’s activated for hours. A must in the summer or in hot states.
  10. O’Keeffe’s Working Hands Hand Cream ($6) : This cream absorbs into dry skin and surprisingly does not leave a greasy residue for how moisturizing it is.
  11. Magnetic Wristband and Magnetic Clip-On Pouch Set ($25) : This wristband is the cherry-on-top during the workday. Loose nails and screws are inevitable but this set helps keep the nails laying around to a minimum.
  12. Cabinet Claw Face Frame Clamp 2/Pack ($55) : This perfectly aligns cabinets before securing them together! So quick and easy and if your carpenter friend installs cabinets this is a necessity.
  13. DryGuy Boot and Garment Dryer ($68) : There’s nothing quite like putting on wet boots that didn’t dry overnight on the next morning, but that can be completely avoided with this dryer! Perfect solution for wet and stinky boots in the winter or rainy months.
  14. Milwaukee Impact Demolition Gloves ($25) : A staple for anyone in construction. These specifically are reinforced with extra protection on the palms and fingertips.
  15. Air Activated Hand Warmers ($28) : Just shake them around and there you go – personal small heat packs for hands and feet during those winter months.
  16. Milwaukee Heated Jacket with Battery and Charger ($199) : An upgrade from the hand warmers, haha. Mike has worn his heated jacket for years, and it’s held him through long, snowy, wet days here in Minnesota.
